A long walk but worth it
While traveling along, we stopped here in Dambach-la-Ville to see a few sights, one being this castle. The view from the tower was nice, my daughters ran ahead and beat us to the top. It was a nice wa...
Climb to the top
Hi all A bit of a schlepp to get to but good view from top of tower. Well worth it. Guide in French - follow the blue dot pathway to get down to the town Regards Livarot
Long walk.
The only way up to the top of this one is a rather tough uphill walk. But it was worth it for the views. The castle is also nice. I can see why it was built here.
Get up the ladder to the top!
Standing on the top of this Castle gives you an amazing view on the surrounding villages and forests. Worth the hike up to the castle!

I guess I should clarify that it is not exactly a stroll in the park. Obviously to get there it is an uphill battle for about 5kms, and much of it is heavy going. There are 2 ways to go, but we follow...
