Photo opportunity
It’s a great photo opportunity site! Lots of parking spots around it. It’s a pretty quiet street and you will have plenty of time to get your pictures taken
If you’re traveling the Alcan, be sure to stop and take your picture with the Mile 0 marker. There’s a visitor’s center nearby, but it was closed during our visit.
Next to the Visitor Center, it is one of two markers for the beginning of the Alaska Highway. The other is a couple of blocks in downtown (they wanted to attract more tourists to town). It is a nice...
Stop and get your photo for the start of the Alaska highway! Very large parking lot. While there stop at information centre and little museum. All wheelchair accessible.
Great place to stop and stretching your legs. Art Gallery. Visitor Information are right on site and it's not a far walk from the Mile Zero Post located downtown
