Victoria Police Museum

Here’s the first floor of the World Trade Center, and you won’t know it there unless you go for it specifically! Fascinating exhibitions and stories, from the Kelly Party to the Russell Street car bomb explosion in 1986, and other stories that criminals have broken and unsolved for years. Add to that souvenirs and uniforms and the history of Victoria and Melbourne police forces. There is also a moving story about the deaths of some people in the 2009 Victorian bushfires.

The museum's logo could have done better; we eventually found it. A compact museum that records Victorian law enforcement history. Shows real case evidence and interestingly shows key figures on both sides of the law. It took about 40 minutes to visit - there is also a small gift shop.

Victoria and even Australia's most famous robber, Ned Carey, whose armor is not actually in Melbourne prison, but in this police museum. Don't forget to try beer goggles.
