Worth visiting even in the dark
When we visited the church was open but we couldn't find a light switch. It was still worth stopping and we will try to come back earlier in the day to see the wonderful wall paintings.
13th century church with a dark history.
A bit off the main road, this church has history and intrigue. It's main features: 14th century Doom wall painting. 12th century font. Oaken chest parish safe, carved from a single piece of wood. ...
