History
An interesting way to spend a day in Drobeta. A very nice way to know the history of our ancerstors and to learn how was possible to build a bridge 2000 years ago.
Castrul Roman
A place worth visiting if you are staying in Drobeta-Turnu Severin. During summer time (including the start of September) it is really hot there so be sure to bring plenty of water and sun protection.
Get a feeling of the Roman civilization
For the untrained eye (like mine), this is a large structure of rock walls that was once a fortified settlement. Most probably this brings much more joy to an archaeologist. Together with the bridge'...
Quite good site for a visit
We visited the archaeological Park. It is well maintained and with lots of signs. We saw the roman baths, the theatre, the castrum and the food of the bridge built by Trajan. Very nice place with gard...
Interesting
Probably not an accurate archeologic renovation, but one can make an image of a Roman military fort.
