    Nice shrine

A nice Shinto shrine, part of Shibata castle ruins. It is a working shrine so has omamori (charms) and fortunes on sale.

    Shrine

Has some English interpretations of the local area and history which are useful. Otherwise a shrine to spend a few minutes exploring.

    In Kitanosho Castle Park

The shrine in Kitanosho Castle Park, a 5~10 minute walk from Fukui station. A small but interesting park and shrine, with many statues and old parts of the castle walls on display.

It's near Fukui Station, so I think it's worth a visit.

    Original Text

It is the last place in the city you know. There is also a statue of my daughter's three sisters. The shrine is small, but it's near Fukui Station, so if you go to Fukui, you should definitely ask.

    Couple -

    Original Text

Katsuie Shibata and his wife's city, who lost to Hideyoshi, committed suicide and are enshrined in the place where the castle tower of Kitanosho Castle, which was wrapped in flames, was said to have been located. In the small precincts, there are statues of Katsuie, Oichi, and three sisters who escaped outside the castle and were entrusted to Hideyoshi before the castle fell. The marriage between Katsuie and the city was only 7 months short, but it is believed that the couple will benefit in a harmony after the two people who were connected by a strong bond.
