A visit in the rain
Original Text
I visited this shrine after seeing the honorary monument of Mr. and Mrs. Nonaka. You can go out to the approach from the side of the honorary monument. The stairs on the approach are in good condition, so I didn't have to worry about rain. It was a high ground, but I couldn't see Hakone because of the rain.
It is located in the Nakahata district, with a good view.

The torii gate is new and the approach is new. If you climb a little steep stairs, you will find an old torii gate, and you can see the main shrine in a higher place in the back. It was a little small and I didn't have a money box. On the way back, Hakone's mountain 々 looked beautiful and Kimoto was good.
On the outskirts of the new residential area of Gotemba, soon beyond that is the shrine at the foot of Mt. Fuji at the Ground Self-Defense Force Takigahara Station. It seemed that the stairs and torii gates to climb the precincts had just been rebuilt and were very beautiful. Here is a monument built to commemorate the achievements of Mr. Toru Nonaka, the main character of the N HK drama "Fuyo no Hito". Mr. Nonaka is a person who made meteorological observations at the top of Mt. Fuji in the midwinter to improve the accuracy of meteorological observations in Japan.
It is a small shrine located near the Takigahara station, about 15 minutes by car from Gotemba Station. The name of this shrine is derived from the meteorologist Toru Nonaka, the creator of the Mt. Fuji Meteorological Meteorological Station, and there was also a monument to honor Mr. and Mrs. Nonaka. It's a very small shrine, but the stairs along the way were very well maintained.
