It is the largest national wetland park in the central area of a mega-city nationwide, truly deserving the title of Guangzhou's 'green heart'. Typically, visitors enter the Haizhu National Wetland Park through the north gate, but the south gate is closer to the egret breeding areas. The crisscrossing paths winding above the marshes are less crowded and offer a peaceful and suitable environment for walking. This cherry blossom viewing experience allowed me to traverse the entire wetland park. It was my first time exiting through the park's south gate, where I witnessed the beautiful scenery of the southern area of the park. It was a fulfilling experience, and I look forward to the swift opening of the park's third phase.
