Original Text
It is a Zen temple of the Rinzai sect Shokokuji school and flourished at the family temple of the Shimazu family. It seems that the temple was once abandoned due to Haibutsu kishaku in the early Meiji period, but it was rebuilt after that. There are tombs from the first to fifth generations of Mr. Shimazu in the precincts.
Inside the main hall, there were many highlights such as the Kannon Bodhisattva statue and the four heavenly kings of the side, and there were many highlights. Important cultural properties of the prefecture are also preserved. There is also a statue of Nio outside, which is said to be a cultural property of Izumi City. It was a temple of the Rinzai sect and had a majestic atmosphere.
