Japan's largest wooden dome
Original Text
From the window of the connecting bus from Izumo Airport to Taisha, it looked like a UFO that descended into the paddy field area of Izumo Plain! Until the completion of Akita's "Odate Jukai Dome", it was the largest wooden dome in Japan ... and there was a driver's slightly disappointing guide, but this male figure is made of wood! !! In any case, I think it's a wonderful building.
The clubhouse attached to the dome has a public bath and you can enter a quasi natural hot spring. It was a bath that was not very big, but it was 600 yen, so it was just good to sweat after sightseeing in Izumo Taisha shrine.
Izumo Dome suddenly appears in the middle of the field. A beautiful white round dome. It is said that it was built to promote sports to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the city system.
It is a white building. It is wooden. It was white and big and very conspicuous. I had never seen a dome other than Tokyo Dome, so I was very surprised at the wooden architecture.

Well maintained.
I visited for the first time, so I didn't understand it well, so I was very busy with the staff. Access is not good.
