Great place but Quicksand.
Watch for Quicksand! Great park with eagles all over. If you go on the sand, however, you may find quicksand. Sunk up to my waist.
Drive is worth it
The tide was out so we didn't really stick around. We got some beautiful photographs and there were 2 other stops we wanted to check out. It's a pretty drive and we were lucky that the sun was out.
