Hotel を Modification した Memorial Hall
Original Text
Although it is located in Yamanaka Onsen, which is related to Basho, there is no Izumiya where Basho stayed, and this is just a memorial hall. However, it is a renovated inn and the original guest rooms and gardens are worth a visit.
The lacquer painted inside the building retains the remnants of a good inn. The garden is also beautiful. You can also get a matcha set (paid) The view from the room is the best. 2F has many Basho exhibits.
I had some time at Yamanaka Onsen, so I entered without expecting it, but it was quite good. As with old houses, the garden was very well maintained and the autumn leaves were beautiful. Pottery made by local people is sold, and it is a good souvenir.
The admission fee is 200 yen. I entered the museum with a canvas coupon. It was Saturday, but there were no other visitors, and it seemed that I came to a quaint inn. It seemed good to take quaint pictures such as rooms, corridors and stairs, and it looked like Instagram.

You can learn more about Basho.
It is a little deeper than the Yuge Kaido. Worth a walk. I like the exhibition "Basho Sugoroku".
Is it Instagram-worthy in the quaint hall?
