Kawasaki City's only の National Designated History
Original Text
The Tachibana Jukanga Ruins are the only nationally designated historic sites in Kawasaki City. It is divided into the remains of an ancient temple in Kagemuji Temple and the remains of Tachibana Ju-gun ya, which is said to be the remains of the government office. The place that is said to be the site of the county ya has been maintained as a green space and has become a square called "Tachibana Ancient Hill Greenland". It is a square green area surrounded by a fence, and there is nothing but a guide board in the corner of the site and a stone monument in the other corner. Local children ran around and played regardless of history study.
I couldn't believe that the remains of the ancient nation were in Kawasaki City. It is a small park with a sign called 「 Tachibana Ancient Hill Greenland 」. A large-scale excavation investigation is now underway. A staff member of the board of education under investigation was explained. It has already been designated as a national historic site, and the Masakura building will also be restored. It is surrounded by a fence in a corner of a residential area. I hope someday the fence will be removed and an ancient building will be built.
The Tachibana no Ki-gun ya site is the site of the Musashi-kuni government office excavated in the precincts of Yogoji Temple, which was founded in Hakuho and dates back to the Nara period. The ruins themselves are not maintained so that ordinary people can see and enjoy them, but it was surprising that they could think of the time when an ancient nation was formed in the mountains of Kawasaki.
