An amazing collection for a town of this size - and it is free.
High quality gallery and museum. Spaced over 3 floors this venue is amazing for the town of the size of Kirkudbright. We particularly enjoyed the exhibition of glasswork whcih was on tour here.
The museum is hosting the Galloway Hoard which is a must see treasure. Brilliant. The art gallery is also worth a look on its own. There is a little cafe selling lovely cake and coffee.
Well organised gallery with lots of stairs (there is a lift). Cafe is pleasant so a good place to catch your breath. Galloway hoard will be on display there from December 2020 until late 2021
Lovely modern conversion to an art gallery and telling the story of the local artists. Wander the town and visit the galleries. Beautiful wide streets.

Pleasant airy art gallery
An excellent conversion to an airy art gallery with a pleasant cafe. Many local artists are featured to good effect in an enhancing surround.
