Taira no atsumori's neck mound
Original Text
It is located on the west side of the flashy three-storied pagoda. It was erected to enshrin Taira no Atsumori, who was killed by Naomi Kumagai in the battle of Ichinodani, and in the shrine there was a Gorinto like Atsumorizuka on the west side of Sumaura Park. The size of Atsumorizuka in Sumaura Park was better at all. In the first section, Atsumorizuka in Sumaura Park is also called a torsozuka, and this is called a neckzuka. There were also parent-child Jizo, Siberia Manchurian War Dead Memorial Monument, and Rokujizo around Shuzuka.
Atsumori Shuzuka is located in the precincts of Sumaji Temple. I found it when I visited Sumaji Temple in February. This neck mound is a Gorinto tower built to mourn the Bodhisattva of Taira no Atsumori, who was hit by Naomi Kumagai and died in the battle of Ichinodani in 1184. It is 1 of Genpei Historic Site. Atsumori was the youngest child of Taira no Kiyomori's younger brother Tsunemori and was 17 years old.
It is located in the precincts of Sumaji Temple. It was enshrined beautifully and properly. The area where this neck mound is located is also a place with ordinary graveyards and memorial monuments, and the solemn atmosphere was flowing.
As I proceeded through the precincts of Sumaji Temple, a stone monument with "Aigokuzuka" stood, and I didn't know the location and didn't get lost. It was found that the neck mound was covered with a roofed building and was properly enshrined. It was written that the torso mound was in Ichinodani.

i apologize for the young busho.
I didn't take a picture here. Mr. Atsumori died young. It seems that he was still a boy with innocence. I pray for your soul.
