Marimo Exhibition and Observation Center

Great visit

Love to see the Marimo up close. Reading about the life cycle og Marimo was interesting an well done. Besutiful view from the island.

Nice, but poorly maintained

It's a small museum you get to visit if you take the sightseeing cruise in Akan lake. This small museum is nice to see for 10 mins but could be maintained better and felt a bit old to me.

Very interesting experience

To be arriving to by boat (general or private). 15 minutes are enough, but very explenatory, even in english. Very special exhibition

Interesting 10 minutes

We visited as part of the Lake Cruise, the boat waiting whilst we went in to see these little bright green spherical algae found no where else in the world.

Not enough time to visit the exhibit which we thought was an underwater viewing of the lake

The exhibit is in the middle of the lake - but unlike what we expected (that it was an underwater view of the lake), it was tanks of Marimo balls. We didn't have enough time to view the exhibit at wel...
