Not worth it
The marimoyu public bath is not worth 500yen. Water is clean and very hot. Rest of bathing area does not look clean and looks like it needed a refurbishment 20 years ago. Big deep step into the hot w...

The museum is free. Interesting display and lots of information about the marimo, the trees, and even some wild life at the area.
Good traditional onsen
Do not expect anything fancy. But if you`re looking for something traditional and simple at good price, as a real Japanese would enjoy...here you come! It`s very tiny but it has some vending machines ...

The hot spring public bath has a temperature close to the source poured into the bathtub. People in Hokkaido can put it in enough, but it is hot enough for those from Honshu to put it in. There is a full parking lot if you enter 4 cars. Let's take a bath with a hand over!
