A beautiful spot in glorious September weather.

We stayed on the Yelloh campsite adjacent to the lake. The lake was beautiful, we both walked and cycled around the lake.

Excellent for cycling and walking

Made a number of visits to the Lac du Jaunay using the well signposted trails. Most of the trails are good for mountain bikes but care is necessary on some because the of erosion and rocks.

Peaceful

Lovely area to walk providing the weather is cool, regular parking areas and aires for picnics. No toilet facilities at any of the parking places. Plenty of opportunity to rent water sport equipment.

It is a quite calm lake, it takes a lot of pleasure to walk or walk in ft, you meet few people (even in full season), except the fishermen who are many on this lake!
