Beautiful gardens, great children's programs, lovely trails, fantastic place to go with family or for some solitude.
Native American Mounds protected
If you're traveling in the area and interested in local history, stop by in this unassuming city park and check out couple of well-preserved Indian Mounds.
Great to be Outdoors
Stopped here after supper and the kids loved the playground. Great imaginative structure for the kids to play on. Unfortunately the educational buildings were closed, but there were great trails and...

Wonderful playground for kids and love that it has swings for adults to hang out on too. Nice sturdy wooden structures.
Many good memories
I went to UW La Crosse as a freshman 44 years ago and stayed with a local resident across from Myrick park because the dorms were full. The park has many improvements for young children.
