Sad that he is not in a documentary/celebrated more.
I am surprised that Lansing does not celebrate the RE Olds history. This goes back to the razing of his mansion to make room for 496. Yes, we have a museum but there is no documentary/PBS show regard...
Cars Galore
Spent some time here on a recommendation. So glad we did. Not a very big place, but every inch of space is used. Spent a good 1.5 hours.
A marker to mark the passing of a company
All that is left Ransom E. Olds, REO Motor Car Company and its REO clubhouse is a State of Michigan historical marker. The factory was taken down in 1979 now all that remains is this marker.
