Fantastic vineyard
The coolest place... vineyard hewn into the rock... their wines keep getting better. All the vines in Uruguay are improving every day... it’s great. Enjoyed a super lunch... have not been back recent...
Old ghosts town resurrected!
Visited the old town of Garzon, about 45+ km north of La Barra. Great day trip, with fabulous restaurants like the photo included in this review, Garzon Restaurant and Hotel.

Best vineyard in Uruguay!! An example of environmentally friendly and sustainable wine production in South America. Great restaurant and excellent staff. Love it!!
