Worth the uphill climb back up.

The hike starts at the carpark and heads downhill. Saw a male grouse along the way and thankfully, no bears. Down the lake you are rewarded with a breathtakingly beautiful view. Before you climb uphil...

    Pretty trail, lots of steps

We wanted to do some other trails in Denali but due to Beat sightings we ended up on this trail. It was very pretty. It was near the Visitor Center and well traveled but still a pretty hike.

Gorgeous hike in Denali National Park

Fairly easy hike (4 miles round trip) from the Visitors Center. Stunning scenery through the woods, along the river, and around horseshoe lake. We were fortunate enough to see a moose with two babies.
