I used to go to Tainohama, which is famous for swimming in the sea, when I was little from my relative's house, but it's a little off the road. The view of the Rias coast is very good and looks good at sunset time, but I couldn't see the tide blowing well.

From Prefectural Road 26, you will reach the observatory if you go weakly on a narrow road 1Kｍ. (It's not a narrow road, but be careful when passing each other.) Even though it's an observatory, there is only a pavilion and a toilet with a parking space of about 10 cars on the hill.
