Would be better in the summer
Well-signposted from the car park. Good paths and little snippets of info along the short route. All in all, a bit underwhelming.
History
It is an amazing tree and so old and will be here long after human kind. It’s in a beautiful forest that is worth a trek, small car park opposite.

My family loved the New Forest so much to see and do. We stopped and visited this tree, it is very underwhelming (children 5,13,15 not impressed), I wouldn’t say it is a must do…

Clearly very old and fenced for it's own protection. A bit healthier than the major oak in Sherwood, and a nicer walk
Wonderful
The New Forest is a beautiful and protected piece of England’s natural history. It is wonderful to find such old trees growing in Ornamental Drive, this was a lovely surprise.
