Nice to stop and look around

It was easy to get to and turning area for a van - good view over the town and the landscape - book the mine tour in advance

Avoid the town.

Bloody awful. A caravan park booklet Ing system that doesn't work. None around to help or guide. You are on your own. My advice avoid it.Avoid the place.

Must see

To get a good look at how Newman is set out this is a great spot. Spectacular views and great photo opportunity.

Good views

Good lookout up a paved road. Useful to get the layout of the town so worth doing early in a visit. Can't see into the mine, but didn't expect to. Also has some shaded picnic tables. Worth a visit.

Good facilities

A very nice lookout above Newman. Worth a visit and has shaded areas to sit and eat and BBQ facilities. It was very windy on my visit, but a good way to enjoy a vista of Newman.
