    こぢんまりした美術館

    新見駅周辺の貴重な(唯一の？)見どころ。駅から右へしばらく歩き、頭がぶつかりそうな高さしかないガードを通ると10分くらいで到着。小高い丘の上にあるため、玄関へは階段かスロープで行くことになる。 収蔵品は多くないが、格安の入館料で、富岡鉄斎、横山大観、平山郁夫などの有名どころの絵を鑑賞することができる。
