    In front of the learning center, there is a park and a waterfall, so I enjoyed eating lunch with the children. After that, I entered the learning center. The children seemed to be very interesting, probably because they climbed the surrounding mountains.

    It is located in the copper hydrophilic park in the Matsuki district, upstream of the Watarase River that flows through Ashio Town. Materials and photos of the history of the Ashio Copper Mine, how the smoke damage of sulfur dioxide gas emitted with copper refining caused damage to the surrounding environment, and measures taken to restore the environment after the closing of the Copper Mine.
