西尾城 Nishio Castle
After Meiji authorities tore down Nishiojō in 1871, little survived, but in modern times a gatehouse, tenshudai (donjon’s stone base) and 3-tier turret called Honmaru Ushitora Yagura (which means the ...
Rather than a tourist destination, it is not a place for the purpose of gorgeousness or bustle, as it is a citizen's park with a castle turret. Maybe there are special busy days such as festivals in this land, but when I visited it was a time when there were few quiet tourists. However, although this atmosphere is a small park, it creates a really nice atmosphere, and the appearance of a full makeup including commercial ones to attract attention, saying, "It's popular now," at Okazaki Castle that I went to after this. Walk from Meitetsu Nishio Station 10 Minutes 々. The place where the castle was originally a park, and a small turret remains. You can enter the inside of the turret and climb the 2 floor. The turret is not so high, and the view from the turret is blocked by trees, so I wonder if it is one image. There is also an old house and a beautiful garden in the park. It seems that you can see the garden while drinking matcha (charged).
It was the cherry blossom season due to the influence of Corona, but there were few customers. The facility is closed, so I enjoyed only the cherry blossoms. Since the main enclosure was under construction, it is likely that a new fence and turret will be constructed.
It is a castle ruin. Some stone walls have been reproduced, and some of them use stones from that time. It was interesting to have a device that sings when I pressed the button.

I'm going to walk a little from the station.
