You can watch some good videos (in Japanese) about Oki Bull Sumo, traditional sumo and other local festivals of the Oki Islands here. The displays are interesting - if you have a guide who can show yo...
A facility located in the Goka district, crossing the mountain north from Saigo Port. When you enter one from the highway, there is no signboard, so be careful not to go too far. It's a great deal to buy a ticket as a set with the local museum. You can gain knowledge of Oki, such as models of cows and local style sumo.
You can watch videos of traditional local events such as bullfighting and sumo, so if you visit during sightseeing, you can feel like you are sightseeing. However, be careful with children as it may be boring for children.
There is a cafeteria and an exhibition hall, and I bought a common ticket with the Oki Local Museum. It's cheaper for 150 yen. First of all, I saw a video about sumo and bullfighting at the back theater. I found that sumo has a special meaning and is rooted in the region. The history of bullfighting was also helpful.
