Orangeville, County Daffling County, north of Toronto, is known by local Chinese as "Orange Town". Orange Town is famous for "tree carving". A tree that died on the roadside became alive in the hands of less than 30,000 residents. As you stroll along Broadway, the main street of Orange Town, you will notice that there are many dead wood sculptures in the shade of the walkway. They add endless fun to the historic quaint town. So this street is also called the "Tree Carving Art Trail" (Art Walk of Tree Sculptures ). Often unexpected visitors stand for a long time, taking pictures and punching in. At the town hall on Broadway, you can see the story and location map of each tree carving, as well as a brief description of each tree carving artist. If you leave from the western city of Mississauga, follow the 410 highway or Hurontario St all the way north, you can get here in about 40 minutes by car.
