Before setting out with my wife and granddaughter I 'confirmed' it was open via trip advisor site only to discover it was closed on arrival - disappointing
What a lovely old building
What a lovely old building, we visited here whilst up seeing relatives in Paisley. It's right in the heart of the town centre and easy to get too.
Coats Observatory
This place is very interesting, small but you actually have a tour guide giving you the complete history and o. Certain nights you can observe the stars thru the giant telescope.
Appalling customer service
Totally appalling customer service. Website states open to public tuesdays and sundays 11-1 and 2-4. Precise eh? So we travel down there and door is closed at 2.40 on Tuesday. Ring buzzer. Get spoken...
