The trails are very steep and quite a workout for runners, but the views you get to see in the morning when the sun is rising is amazing. Not crowded and you have the trails to yourself before 7 AM.

Good Place for A Hike with Views - Castle Ridge Trail
We enjoyed going to a walk - albeit uphill - on the Castle Ridge Trail in Pleasanton. This is a nice place for a walk and views.
