Public washrooms! Lots of space for kids and dogs. Picnic tables. Well maintained. Beautiful view as it's just across the road from the blockhouse,cannons and bay.
A great place to stop for a stroll, a picnic, to watch the deer, or just to use the washroom ( with young children, it is a "must" to know where they can make those necessary pit-s...
A very nice, small, park across from the Blockhouse. Interesting cedar walkway on the left as you enter. Well looked after and it was very peaceful when we went early in the morning.
This park is located across from the Blockhouse National Historic site. It is well groomed and a pleasure to stroll about in. There are clean washrooms for the public to use as well.

A Reprieve from Busy-ness

Couple this with a visit to the Blockhouse
