the amazing harmony of a cherry blossom & a skunk cabbage!
This beautiful pond is called 'Sugo-no-ike', where have some blossom and skunk cabbage. It was stunning! Although it takes 60 min by bus and 15 min by foot from sakata station, it's worth seeing. Ther...
Kazukawa no Ike is called "Sugo no Ike". I was curious on the way to Tamaren Falls in a pond in the mountains of Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture, and stopped by. The pond is covered with trees 々 ...
The Kazukawa pond is fully equipped with a parking lot and toilet, so you can take a walk around the pond. Spring is a recommended season because you can also see Basho Mizu. There was also an observatory overlooking the pond.
I aimed for the observatory, but I was disappointed that I couldn't go because it was under renovation. Still, I enjoyed walking around the area and enjoyed it in the beautiful nature.
I visited in the spring when Basho zushi blooms. There is an eastern store near the parking lot, and I ate a lunch box while looking at the double cherry blossoms. There is a promenade around the pond where you can take a walk.
