It's just off the ruins of Nagashino Castle, but I couldn't go because it's currently closed. Looking from the bridge, it seems that a large stone has fallen.
It is a place where a large fault that divides Japan from east to west, known as the Central Structural Line, is exposed. Actually, it seems to be quite rare, and I was impressed.
You can see the large fault from Ibaraki to Kyushu up close. You can clearly see it even if you look at it by amateurs. I think you can feel part of the wonder of nature. It is recommended to anyone because it can reach the site by walking a little with ordinary athletic shoes.
There is no place where the central tectonic line can be seen along National Highway 151. You can see the Ryoke Metamorphic Belt and the Sanbagawa Metamorphic Belt here. After visiting the central tectonic line, you can descend to the river, but there is a rope, and you can't get off unless you use it for that rope, but the view is good. There are many earthquakes recently, but it is a place where there are many along the central tectonic line.
It is located a little further behind the opposite side of Kontaku Nagashino. The car has a space in the back of the other side, not Kontaku Nagashino, so it's a good idea to park there. There is a signboard, so you can go accordingly. If you go down near the river, there is a simple scaffolding and an explanation board. And you can observe clearly different rock boundaries. I think you can feel the scale of the earth's activities for a while. ...
