#fallingforfall To go up to the top of Seoraksan Mountain, it's best to take their cable car which is just a 5 minute ride. Each cable car ride interval is 10 minutes long with a maximum of 50 people (no seats available; standing only) for each ride. It's quite a packed cable car with people jostling for the best view space when entering the cable car. Even so, it's an enjoyable experience as you get to see the beautiful mountain and autumn leaves while going up/down the ride. Once up, you can go up 1 floor to the observatory for the scenic views or continue to climb up the mountain to the top. While it's now autumn, it had yet to reach the peak season. It should be even more beautiful in the upcoming 1-2 weeks around end October.

You can reach the summit conveniently by taking the Seoraksan Cable Car and walking by 10 to 15mins after. The Cable Car ascends in a high speed adds the excitement of the tourists. You can also enjoy scenic view with autumn leaves 800meters above. Best to explore during Autumn, though its nice also to see it during the Winter season when the weather permits as its a bit slippery during this time.
