Jiantan Historical Temple

Jiantan Ancient Temple - also known as Jiantan Temple and Guanyin Temple, is a Buddhist temple located in Bei'anli, Zhongshan District, Taipei City. It is located in Jiantan. It has been moved to Dazhi due to the expansion of Taiwan's Shen Palace. It is now listed as a historical building.

In the middle of Qianlong, he presided over the reconstruction of Shunbao monks. Daoguang 24 years (1844) spring, presided over the Miaojin monks, Quanjiao Yiyuan No., Lin Yisheng, Xie Ruicheng Temple body damage and rain damage, initiated the reconstruction, and set up a monument the next year. In 1923, the temple invited Chen Yingbin to overhaul, and the temple was expanded to three temples and the Bell and Drum Tower. Shizuo was operated by Li Kuozui. During the Japanese rule period, hundreds of thousands of visitors came every year. Old Wu Xu recalled that there was a release pool in front of the temple. Because there were many turtles in the past, the name was ｢ Turtle Pool. Every morning, the monks would feed after the morning class. Therefore, the turtles heard the sound of wooden fish, and they rushed out. There was a proverb of "Jiantan Turtle Listening to the Ring".
