Heavy な Bell Tower Gate
Original Text
About 20 minutes walk from Takehara Station. The year of foundation is unknown. During the Sengoku period, it was Jorinji Temple of the Soto sect. In 1603, it was converted to the Jodo Shinshu (Honganji school) and renamed Shorenji Temple. The principal image is Amida Nyorai. The profound bell tower gate was built in 1763/1766 years. The main hall was built in 1737 and was made of wooden tile. It is said that there is the oldest Korean bell (national important cultural property) in Japan that Takakage Kobayakawa took it home from Korea in the role of Bunroku and Keicho, but it is not hung on the bell tower gate but stored in another place. It seems to be Ah ...
Since I came to the sacred place of "Tamayura", this is also an indispensable temple. In the anime, there was a scene that climbed the mountain gate, but now the stairs are blocked by strings and cannot be climbed. Some people may think it's an anime, but the temple itself is magnificent and worth worshiping. The sect was read by the Jodo Shinshu Honganji school (West), and some materials, but Aki was a place where many disciples of the Jodo Shinshu sect were.
A temple related to the Takehara Kobayakawa family at the northern end of the old townscape preservation district
Original Text
There are many old temples in the back of the old townscape, such as Uchiko Town in Ehime, and in a small high place, but you can naturally reach Shorenji Temple by walking along the main street in the townscape preservation district of Takehara. After all, it is a temple related to the Takehara Kobayakawa family that housed this place during the Sengoku period (period of Warring States), and it seems that it was a school for children of 々. For this reason, one of the highlights of this temple is the bell of the Goryeo period, which is said to have been brought back by Takakage Kobayakawa during the Bunroku war. Put in a glass case ...
It was located near the edge of the Takehara cityscape preservation district. It seems that many visitors are locals, but there were many tourists who stopped by that day. Maybe it was because the cherry blossoms near the entrance were very splendid and beautiful.
In front of the entrance gate, there is a 6 corner well for making sake that supported this town. When you go up the stairs, you will find a quiet main hall.
