    Worth a visit!

    The castle is definitely worth a visit when in Tavira. Some good views from the ramparts. Don't forget to wander into the enclosed garden - beautiful trees and plants from all over Portugal.

    Fabulous views

    Small ruin with beautiful garden protected by the walls. The scent of the flowers as you walk in was amazing. The climb up the stairs definitely worth the views.

    Nice place to spend half an hour

    Nice place to visit on a trip to Tavira. Free to enter and a good way to spend half an hour. Lots of good look outs across Tavira. Pretty gardens too.
