It is a shrine located right from Sasu Station. There are many shrines in this area, but there are shrines in the precincts, which is an interesting place.
It is just off Keikyu Sasu Station. It is one of the many temples and shrines along the old Tokaido. The main shrine is at the end of the torii gate. There is a red stamp written on the side of the hall of worship, and you can pay 300 yen. Next to the main shrine is the Susumujin Inari Shrine.
In a way, it seems to be a place with a Chinese atmosphere. I thought that a gentleman with colorful colors had a very different atmosphere from Korea.
This shrine was founded in the early Edo period as Chinju of former OI village, but there are various shrines such as Itsukushima Jinja shrine, suzu Jinja shrine, fishing Kure Tama Jinja shrine, and promotion Inari Jinja shrine in the precinct. There is also a square island in the square Benten Pond, which has a strange atmosphere. This shrine is also designated as "Shinagawa Hyakkei".
It is the total guardian of the former Mibayashi Town (later Oi Satsuma Town, now Higashi Oi 1-chome, part of the 2-chome, 4-chome). It is said that it was already founded in the Kanbun era (1661 ~ 1673). In the precincts, there are lanterns and guardian dogs donated by fishermen like the guardians of fishermen's towns. The deities enshrined include Takata Betsuson, Kinagatoshihimeson, and Izunoson and Izunoson of Hakusan Shrine, which were enshrined on August 14, 1945. Inari Shrine (commonly known as ...) in the precincts.
