The flattest, straightest road you will ever see in all of Japan!
The Ororon Line was my path from Haboro to Teshio and then from Teshio to Wakkanai. Having visited every prefecture in Japan except for Okinawa, and having bicycled the entire length of the country on...
I passed because the traveler's word of mouth was good.

I passed between Wakkanai - and Mae on the way from Wakkanai to Asahikawa. I should have seen Rishirifuji on my right hand during the passage, but it was a pity that I couldn't see the vicinity of the mountaintop hidden in the clouds. However, there were no traffic lights on the road, and the scenery was reasonable, so I enjoyed the magnificence of Hokkaido by stopping by the original flower garden on the way. There was no display board of the maximum speed of the traffic sign, and when it matched the flow, it ran at 80 km / h~ 90 km / h. At the convenience store on the way, I happened to meet a young man on a motorcycle who had a conversation at Cape Soya. ...
Between Masuhae Town and Wakkanai City, there was a 々 highlight, and I was able to drive happily.

Personally, I left Ishikari City and ran the Ororon Line toward Wakkanai, but the road from Ishikari City to Masuge Town is narrow and there are many curves and tunnels. I was impressed that there were few houses and historic sites, so there was nothing to see. There were some 々 highlights between Masuge Town and Wakkanai City, and I enjoyed driving.
The beautiful road south of Wakkanai to the Sea of Japan side was a superb view of Rishiri Island.

I left Wakkanai and stayed at a rich hot spring for one night, and the next day I went further south of the coastline. On the way out of Wakkanai and heading to the Sarobetsu field, the Sea of Japan spread to the right side of the train window, and Rishiri Island and Rishiri Fuji were visible all the time offshore. Hills and wetlands continued on the left side, and I could see the deer deer on the way. When you reach around Toyotomi, there will be no electric poles. There seems to be no private houses to transmit electricity around here. It seems that the scene where cars run in TV commercials is often used. The next day I stayed at a rich hot spring ...
A straight road that lasts forever. It is a very easy to drive and clear road. There are almost no intersections or traffic lights, so it is a road where you can feel the seasons.
