This mosque is said to be built as Saint Paulus Church in 1102. After serving as a church for 300 years,it was converted to a mosque in 1415. It serves as a mosque since then. It is a living history.
A small Gothic cathedral rebuilt into a mosque. Interesting is from within, a beautiful column with classic arrow-like arches and a carved ceiling. Outside is not noticeable at all.
