A new Experience in Okinawa History
Most tourist will travel to Shuri castle and learn about the Ryukyu kingdom. This site provides a great history lesson. This is Urasoe castle site the home of the first King of the Ryukyus the royal...
The guidance facility for "Urasoe Castle Ruins", also known as "Urasoe Yodore", is Urasoe Gusuk Yodorekan. It's a facility in front of Urasoe Yodore, so I stopped by before going to Yodore. Inside the facility, items excavated from the excavation survey of Yodore and prewar panels were exhibited. When we were looking at the exhibits, the person in charge came and explained the restoration of the Urasoe Yodori Nishimuro (the Royal Mausoleum of the British founder) in the dim room. "Yodori" ...
A museum with a restoration exhibition of Urazoe Yodo
Original Text
Materials related to "Urasoe Yodore" are exhibited at a facility in Urasoe Gusk. The admission fee was 100 yen. There weren't many exhibits, but there was an exhibition that reproduced the tomb chamber in the side hole dug on the rock wall of Yodori Urasoe, and it was possible to take pictures.
It's a small museum for the ruins of Urasoe Castle, a World Heritage Site, but is it the director? Or a curator? I was very impressed by the detailed explanation. The DVD you watch first will be very helpful. The movie of Hakuso Ridge, which set the Urasoe Hills in the Battle of Okinawa, was aired and it will be a famous tourist spot at once.
This is a museum that displays the history of Urasoe and the ruins of the castle in an easy-to-understand manner. The highlight was that the tomb (coffin) that is said to have been in Yodori Urasoe was reproduced and exhibited.
