A monument to completion when the road from Shuri to Urasoe Gusk was improved

    Original Text

From the parking lot on the Urasoe Gusk Yodorekan side, proceed to the east on the lower side of Gusk, and a large stone monument stood. The fin is "the monument in front of Urasoe Castle". There is also an explanation board next to the stone monument, which says, "This stone monument is a monument of completion when King Shoning developed the road from Shuri to Urasoe Gusk in 1597." On the other side of the stone monument, I could see the cityscape of Urasoe and the Yui rail that extended to this area a while ago.

It's right there as soon as you enter the south entrance.

    Original Text

This is the place where the monument to commemorate the completion was built when the road connecting Urasoe Gusk and Shuri was developed during the Shonei King era in 1597. The monument was destroyed in the Battle of Okinawa, so it was restored in 1999. You can see Shuri Castle directly ahead of this stone monument.

However, there are no staff members and it stands in a large park. There aren't many explanations, so I think it's better to read the materials in advance.

A monument to complete the road from Urasoe to Shuri

    Original Text

It was on the site of the Urasoe Castle Ruins, at the end of the cobblestone road that continues from the entrance to the castle ruins. It is a monument to commemorate the completion of the road from Urasoe Castle to Shuri. This place was destroyed because it was a fierce battlefield of the Battle of Okinawa, and the current monument is said to be restored after the war.
