Nice little falls
Can either trek 5km along the lush tree lined trails or drive/use a local driver to take you directly there. Nice & safe area to walk (I did it alone - saw an occasional person or 2 along the hour + a...
For people not able to walk distances or need a walking frame, you can easily get to viewing points from the car park. This was a sight I could add into a jam packed day of being a tourist.
A short walk from the carpark with an easy track and steps. You can walk on the top of the falls and get very close to the rim and the water cascading over the edge. No entry fees.
Just passing through but we stopped here to get a photo of the falls. By NZ standards this would count as a fairly tame white water show. The horsh-shoe shaped falls are pleasant to look at, but hard...

Easy Access Good Pathway
