~ Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
Original Text
There is a road of ascetics called "Takakoshiyama" in Yoshinogawa City, Tokushima, and the locals are calling it with love .. Okotsua ~! (I don't know ....)
Mt. Kotsu The magnificent mountain view that stands out from the Yoshino River Plain seems to be familiar as "Awafuji". Mt. Kokoshi is a mountain of Shugendo, and Kokoshiji Temple is at the top. You can drive to the vicinity of the mountaintop, but it is fun to climb mountains that run up an altitude difference of 1000m from the foot of the mountain. It is also maintained as the Omotesando Fugo Onsen course that I walked this time, and there are signs, so there is no worry about getting lost and there is no danger. It takes about 5 hours to go back and forth. However, it is hot in summer ...
There were temples and shrines at the top of the mountain called Awa Fuji, and a great one was enshrined in the shrine!

At 1122 m, Mt. Takakoshi has both Kokoshiji Temple and Kokoshi Shrine, which is very mysterious. In 801, Kobo Daishi was trained, and it seems that there was Isanami Shrine here in the Engishiki Shinto Records. (Currently located in 2 in Anabuki Town and Mima Town at the foot of the mountain) At Takakoshi Shrine, Izanagi Izanami and Amaterasu Omikami are also enshrined as enshrined deities of Tennichiwashi no Mikoto (the ancestor of the Imbe clan). It takes almost a day to walk up from the foot of the mountain.
Mt. Takakoshi rises to Yamakawa-cho, Yoshinogawa City, Tokushima Prefecture. The locals call it "Okoochan". There is a shrine at the top of the mountain, and it is also famous as a mountain of Shugendo.

Gaoyue Temple
It is a temple at the top of Mt. Takakoshi. I walked on a 5,000m mountain trail. The precincts were quiet as if they had risen to heaven.
