Granary in the Qing Dynasty

Qing Dynasty granary is the most complete monument in Changji City, Xinjiang. Our Xinjiang is a province with the most abundant tourism resources in the country or the world. I am proud to be a Xinjiang people. I hope that our Changji tourism can also go to the forefront of Xinjiang.

Changji Qing Dynasty granary is located in the northwest corner of the cross of Hongqi Middle Road and Beijing North Road in Changji City. It is located in the ancient city of Ningbian. The main entrance of the granary is next to the earth wall of the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, there is a stone monument of "Ningbian Ancient City Relic Site". There is a striking sign on the right in front of the main entrance. The four characters of the book "Qing Dynasty granary". Tuntian in Changji can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. From the 23rd year of Qing Qianlong (1758), the construction of granary in Changji began, and the reserves increased year by year. By the first month of Jiaqing ten years (1805), Changji granary storage grain reached 220,000 stone. The layout of the grain silos in the Qing Dynasty was in the shape of the grain silos, the left and right and the middle were all grain silos, the architecture was civil structure, in a courtyard, it was a beam-style wooden structure, the roof was suspended mountain-style, each room had skylights, and the internal structure was intact. In 1987, the Qing granary, as an important part of the ancient city of Ningbian, was identified as Changji City "Municipal-level cultural relics protection unit". In June 2007, the Qing granary was announced as an autonomous cultural relics protection unit by the people's government of Xinjiang Autonomous Region. It is now open to the public.
