Kata Beach is one of the best and the most visited beaches in Phuket island. It is located on the west coast of Phuket. The sea is turquoise blue here and the sand is white and from the beach you can see an iconic island standing in the middle of the ocean, making excellent sunset photos. Kata is less crowded than Patong Beach (which is the most popular beach in Phuket) and still offers a great choice of restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and hotels. It has a nice little street with vendors on the weekend selling beach clothing, Thailand spa and beauty products, t shirts as well as freshly made smoothies, pad Thai and grilled chicken or fish. There is a wave house /bar in the south end to practice surfing. Lots of small shops to buy Thailand massage balms and oils. On the beach itself has massage huts , parasailing, banana boat and jet ski rentals. I spent there 5 days, staying at the Sugar Palm Grand Hillside hotel and I didn’t want to leave that place. It was such an amazing holiday in Kata Beach. Patong Temple, a good place to watch the sunset, lovely atmosphere, a good place to relax and enjoy, I like to do meditation and watch the beautiful landscape, the entry is between Kathu and Patong, I high recommend to visit, is also knowing by Doi Thepnimit Phuket Doi Thepnimit Phuket is a monastic residence with a fantastic panoramic view over Patong beach. You can see its iconic white pagoda from the beach, if you know in which direction to look, of course, it’s pretty tiny. Doi Thepnimit is a small but so beautifully decorated Thai temple, and with such a view, it’s worth stopping on your way in or out Patong beach.

Nice place to stay. Amazing staff very friendly. I Booked a Deluxe Room with Pool Access for my daughter's birthday. The staff comes to have surprised with a cake and sing the birthday song. My daughter is very happy about this surprise. The room is beautiful and clean. The pool is beautiful and long.
