Nice panoramic view from the top
Just had to do this to make the most of the €9 monthly train ticket (last available month) and we weren’t disappointed. This train service is pretty old so do not expect speed. Just too bad we couldn’...
Nice experience
We had a quick visit so see the oldest Schwebebahn which was a nice experience. I would recommend to visit the engine room.
Overview
We really liked the conductor and the views. The snail pace was annoying. Overall, an ok experience.
Nice ride
I cycled here easily from Dresden city center. The conductor was very helpful in operating the ticket machine. Going up (and coming back down again) you'll hear a voice telling the story of the tram. ...
Looking view over the city
Although the journey over 84 meters does not take a long time, it is worth it alone because of the views of the city. Also, you can learn about the history of the train in the tower.
