Going here at night makes me feel like I'm out of Malaysia somewhere around Europe. It's amazing to see there's a lot of cafes and restaurants open at night, with the natural cold weather up here at 21°C.
The best part, they have a huge projector that playd football game at night time, and also there's food trucks for you to try!
Amazingly, for durian lovers- you can not miss out to try their iconic musang king!
And for family and couples, go and try your luck and pro gamer movements to win plushies at their booths!
It is truly a romantic and cosy experience for me to be here. Definitely, a Gohtong Way ♡

Skytropolis is a indoor playground located at Genting Highlands . It is a fun place for children, parents and family. Most of the time queue is not that long(not school holiday)
Dont come too early as they only open from 2pm-9pm. Ticket can purchase directly on the ticketing counter. Now skyworld theme park is open, can consider buy hotel package with indoor & outdoor park, will be slightly cheaper.
Tip:Buy cheaper tickets online from Genting website. Otherwise it's RM10 more on-site. Best value is tickets for unlimited rides.

Nearest place to enjoy cold weather

Genting Highlands is known to be the nearest-to Singapore place to experience cold weather. because it’s very high up mountain hence explains the cool weather. Extremely perfect for weekend getaways. Genting Highland now has a mall call Sky Avenue and it has plenty of food restaurants, bars , casino and entertainment to cover all your needs. They also have upgraded their sky gondola some with glass floor to enhance your ride experience !

A unique theme park
If you are first time here better read up how to utilise your time there. The park operation hour is from 11am until 6pm only. The rides range from average to pretty damn good. Please check the weather forecast prior to the day of your visit. The staff were warm and welcoming. The weekend are pack of people so if you can came weekday should be better.

The Weather here makes the whole experience nice and fun. You are literally in the clouds.
The theme park is beautiful and there are alot of rides but some of them are not operational.
Some of the rides were thrilling but most of it were meant for kids. Suitable for parents who want to bring their kids to have some fun.
All the amenities, including lockers and toilets were good & well maintained.
A wonderful place to gather with family and have loads of fun.

Genting Skyworlds Themepark is newly built in Genting since last year .it’s has 9 uniqued theme world for you to explore including the international brand like Ice Age and other . the ride are fun, getting here guide as below.
Getting here:-
You may take grab / bus / self drive to JOHOR premium outlet. From Johor premium outlet you can take cable car to GentingHighland . Follow the sign to the cable car 🚠
There are many self service kiosk to purchase the cable car ticket, if you do not how to use no worries there are many counter too for you to purchase the tickets.
Although the Que is long but the turn over is fast, many cable car in one go. If you are genting member you are able to access to fast lane to skip the Q.
MAIN ATTRACTION :-
SKYWORLD - you may pre purchase the ticket at trip.com to avoid any delay in the Q to purchase ticket . One of the International Themepark that have multiple themed inside .
Overall experienced just okay only becuase if the ride maintainable , weather , Que you not able to play much . Suggest to go early during the opening time if you want to have full experience of the themepark.
Food & beverage :-
We having dinner at the restaurant inside the First Avenue . There are many restaurant for you to choose from.
Duration of stay:-
We just doing day tour from Kuala Lumpur . You can choose to stay in genting highly as they are fews hotel for you to choose from.
If you just wanna take a break, day trip is sufficient for you to explore Genting Highland .

Besides Cameron Highlands, Genting Highlands is also one of the main tourist destinations for local and foreign visitors because of their cold and wet weather. If Cameron Highlands is famous with fresh strawberries and vegetables, Genting is famous with their theme parks; Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park and Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park.
On my last visit to Genting Skyworlds Theme Park, the park was open for free for all visitors after 6pm. The weather is as expected, very cold and wet. Giving the overseas vibes ⛄️

Genting Theme Park
Decided to take a spontaneous road trip to Genting Skyworlds Theme Park. It was one of those last minute plans that turned into an epic adventure. The drive up the winding mountain roads was both thrilling and nerve wrecking, we couldnt wait to get there. When we finally arrived, we wasted no time and headed straight for those adventure rides. Thanks to the park being less crowded at the time, we got to go back on our favorite rides for a second round of excitement. Ofcuz we couldnt skip the indoor theme park after our outdoor adventures. The indoor part offered a different kind of fun. Weather especially in the evening can get quite cool so make sure to bring a jacket or wear sweater.

Awana SkyWay, Genting Highlands ✨
A trip to Genting Highland would not be complete without experiencing the cable car adventure that will make you enjoy.
The ride is smooth and comfortable, allowing you to relax and fully immerse yourself in the experience. It's an excellent opportunity to capture some stunning photographs or simply marvel at the majestic landscape below.
You could either start from the base or top and go on a round trip or you could take a one-way ride on either side.
As you approach Genting Sky Avenue, you will notice the modern architecture of the mall coming into view. The cable car gracefully glides over the resort, offering a bird's-eye view of the bustling activities and vibrant atmosphere.
The tickets can be purchased thru online or self service kiosk. There are two types of cable car, the glass and regular one. We rode the regular cable car. You need to scan the bar code on the tickets to get through the gate. You have to queue and wait for your turn to get on the gondolas.
Can't wait to go there again! definitely will go again in future! ❤️

Awana SkyWay Genting Highlands Malaysia
Visiting Resort World Genting isn't complete without taking the Awana Skyway. Gondola or cable car with a height of 1,860 meters and a length of 3.38 km will take you along the natural beauty of Genting from above.
Awana Skyway starts operating at half past 8 am to 11 pm. But on weekends and national holidays, this gondola usually operates until 1 in the morning. Inside the gondola there is a USB port that you can use to charge the battery.
The cost that you have to prepare to ride a regular gondola is 8 Malaysian ringgit per person or around 28 thousand rupiah if converted. However, if you want to ride a gondola with a glass floor, get ready to spend more, namely 50 Malaysian ringgit. The capacity of ordinary gondolas and glass gondolas is different. If the regular gondola has a quota of 10 people, the glass gondola can only accommodate 6 people.

Viewing Natural Forest When Taking Skyway
Awana Skyway has been closed for quarterly maintenance from 3rd to 16th April 2023. Genting Skyway has to be operating from 7.00am till 11.00pm during the maintenance closure of Awana Skyway.
The Genting Skyway will be departure from the old building at Gothong Jaya.
Anyway, we were enjoyed the crisp mountain air of the Genting Highlands on a 15 minutes gondola cable car ride aboard the Genting SkyWay.
It costs RM10 for one way ticket, if you purchase back and forth , it will cost RM18.

A trip to Genting Highlands would not be complete without a trip on the cable cars. It was an awesome experience on Awana Skyway. It feels great in the middle of mist and it's beautiful view. It is a must try rides.
It is an excellent mode of transportation between Genting Premium Outlet mall and SkyAvenue mall.

Just one hour driving from Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands is one of the perfect destinations for the weekenders. Getting to Genting Highlands is definitely easiest and more comfortable by car. However, there is a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Genting as low as RM10 if you want to ride a public transport.
Thanks to Trip.com great deals as we managed to book for the last minute staycation in Genting Highlands. This hotel is gonna be my favourite hotel when visiting Genting. The room is so spacious and super clean ✨
Dont forget to include the breakfast when staying here. You can enjoy the dancing clouds while having the breakfast.

Relaxation and Staycation at Genting Highland
Address: Windmill Upon Hills, Jalan Permai, 69000 Genting Highlands, Pahang
Actually, this is 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms apartment, unfortunately, balcony's room was not given to us., We have been assigned to C wing, which is located further away from main lobby, we need to come over to the same building with lobby's building to have breakfast, it's located at 5th floor.
Surrounding areas: It takes 10 minutes walking distance in order to access to outside restaurants, mini markets, convenient stores. No walking pathways for pedestrians, very dangerous to walk on road side, especially night time.
Facilities and amenities: Swimming pool, and gymnasium are located at 41th floor and 42th floor respectively. Please bare in mind that swimming pool will be closed for cleaning from 11am. So regretted that after having breakfast, we have no chance to go for swimming due to closure.
Average price per person: since I purchased through trip.com with promotion code and trips coins, eventually we paid for HKD690. In actual, the average price per person will be HKD300.

Amazing vacation!
Excellent food and service with a friendly staff including bosses, food was very nice all the time we staying here, hopefully can have a good day for everyone, the staff at kitchen always helpful during having a breakfast, the bosses here also helping the staff clearing dishes all the time, never fine any place like Swiss Garden Genting Highlands the bosses helping staff at the restaurant, good job to the GM, excellent service I got here, the room was clean and tidy the environment also very nice and clean, the space for carpark is amazing. Take the gondola from Awana Station and stop at Chin Swee Caves Temple.
It’s the first cable stop before Genting Resort World.
The scenery here is beautiful and the cozy chilly weather makes us relaxing.
The place is nice and well maintained.
It is clean and pleasing to the eye.
There are toilets and places to eat or snacks are also available.
Apart from the pagoda-shaped building, there are also statues of the story character Sun Go Kong and a small temple.
The pagoda has 9 levels to walk up.
The view was incredible and the ambience was serene.

Chin Swee Caves Temple is situation on the way up to Genting Highland. Located at 4600 feet above sea level,
it makes the temple become a very scenic spot to visit to where you will see the cloud below the temple!!

- Parking: FREE (inside or opposite road of the temple)
- Operating hours: 6 am - 10 pm daily
- Recommended time to spend here: 2 - 3 hours
Tip:
1) Visit when the weather is good or the main temple will be covered by the cloud.
2) There is a vegetarian restaurant in the site, other than the small stalls selling the snacks, you may consider to dine in this restaurant.
